How Cotton is Made into Cloth
The following photographs about
cloth making at a textile mill were furnished by
Mr. Clarence Crocker, a life long Glendale resident.
These photos were taken at Glendale but the process at
Pacolet Mills was similar except for the delivery of
cotton to the mill. At Pacolet, for the most part, it
was brought by railroad via the Dummy Line.
