The following photos were furnished by Randy Mathis. The pictures are of actual fires that the Fire Department responded to. These pictures give only a brief glimpse into the extreme heat and danger associated with fighting a fire. It is hard to describe in words how fast and furious a house or trailer fire can be once it gets started.
This web site has been started as a public service to share the story of Pacolet.
